Ellis and Lucas go way back.... all the way back to late June 2012. Yeah. Way back. These two saw each other today for the first time since early fall and they hit it off like gangbusters. Lucas' mom Ayde said she felt like she had travelled back in time and was witnessing what it would be like had Samuel and Owen met during infancy. That made this little interaction all the cuter to watch:
Watching Ellis make friends and engage in meaningful conversation brings to mind another pair of good friends.
These two sweet boys got shafted in the nap department today despite their respective mothers best intentions. There was just too much to do. Too many objects to put in their mouths, too many textures to scratch at, too many guttural grunts and happy shrieks to share.
Despite being sleep deprived, their spirits remained bright and moods stayed happy. And despite it all, Ellis stayed round. Exceptionally, ridiculously round.
